Pole Vault

Titan Athletes offers year-round pole vault training focusing on technique, strength, run form, and body control to improve all-around performance. All ages and experience levels welcome!

Coach Amber Smith has 9 years of coaching experience in the pole vault. She has coached multiple Nevada region and state champions, as well as has had several athletes who have been invited to compete at a multi-state and national level.  

Luke Juden - Class of 2026

"My name is Luke Juden and I have been pole vaulting for a little over a year now. My goal this coming season is to hit 15' and qualify for nationals. I have played a lot of other sports in the past such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball. However, pole vault is definitely the best one. I love it!"

"I am a senior at Shadow Ridge High School. I have been pole vaulting for the last three years, I'm excited to be on my senior year. Before pole vault I played soccer for 7 years. I also performed gymnastics and tumbling. One goal I have for this year is to break the girls pole vault record at my school. I hope to achieve this by continuing to do club and work on my speed, strength and technique each and every day."

Elora Nissen - Class of 2026

"Hi! I'm Elora! I'm going to be a junior this year. I love pole vault and I've been vaulting for 2 years. Before I did pole vault, I did gymnastics and tumbling for several years. I also have done diving, cross country, swimming and volleyball. I started vaulting because it looked fun, and I wanted to try something new!"

"Hello! I'm Tommy Juden and I have been pole vaulting for about a year now. I am in middle school and have only competed 2 times which was at the National Pole Vault Summit in January. My goal is to continue working on technique and strength. I have my two older brothers to look up to and eventually beat their records. I can not wait to start high school to compete more and be one of the best freshman in the state."

Allison Reynolds - Class of 2026

"Hi, I'm Allie Reynolds and I'm a Junior at Shadow Ridge high school. I've played soccer since I was a kid and just started running track and field the beginning of 2023. I am a pole vaulter and run the 400 as well. My goal for this upcoming season is to qualify for regionals in both my events and be the best I can. I hope to break my high schools pole vault record sometime in my high school career. I love the sport and hope to work hard and grow as much as possible."

Audrey Cave - Class of 2025

"Hey! I'm Audrey and I absolutely love doing pole vault! I've danced competetively for quite some time and just this past season I ran track. I played basketball rec for a short amount of time. I've been vaulting for just under a year and I love it. My main goal is to keep improving on techniques. Fixing the little things can make big accomplishments. I'm also trying to maintain a positive attitude and keep on going when tiems get hard. I'm so grateful for my coaches and all they do to help me learn and grow as a pole vaulter."

" Hi! My name is Ella Spencer. This past track & field season was my first time being on a team! I've been vaulting since the beginning of February 2023, so a little over half a year. My goal this track season is at least 6', but I mostly just want to improve and do my best! I'm already proud of all the improvement I've made, so I want to keep it up!"

"I’m Brynlee Stewart! I am a sophomore in high school. I play soccer, and am on the track team. I do hurdles and pole vault. I have been vaulting since my freshman year, and my goal is to clear 6’6 this season."

"I'm Emma Juden and I have only been practicing for the past couple months. I am the only daughter in the Juden family but will be the best pole vaulter. I am looking forward to using my background of dancing to help me with my future in pole vaulting."
